Talks, Presentations & Shows – Behind the scenes

Day 1

The Talks, Presentation & Shows group (TP&S) leaded by Steve Mesure had a round table discussing the possible themes that could be covered during the workshop.

Steve was trying to present them all possible activities that could be developed. They were gathered on a dedicated room but we were allowed to check up on them!

After some minutes inside the room it was easy to notice that most of the participants were rather anxious! But Steve demonstrated to be very flexible with regard to the topics to be addressed, always stressing that he would be responsive to the needs of the group, leaving them enough room for being creative and develop their own work!

We wonder what will be focus of their work given the plethora of topics that could be addressed!?! Meanwhile, we seat back and enjoy the function…

Last minute news: there are rumours that they are going to deliver a kind of street theatre on the last day…

Will there be live streams available to watch some of these talks ?

I’d love to eavesdrop on some of these conversations – is anyone getting video or audio?

Hi Nick and Lloyd, we don’t have any live streams of the talks at all. This is the first time this workshop has been done for Walking With Robots, so perhaps in the future they will stream things… but to be honest that would take a whole other team of people just to focus on that.

Hopefully later today our group will be getting some video of things going on. Right now, though they are beavering away trying to get their stories up as quickly as possible… This afternoon we will be slowing down and going for ‘quality’ over ‘quantity’… It’ll be up to them whether they want to do video or audio, hopefully some of them will choose to.

You could always try and Seesmic from there 🙂

Don’t worry, Mike, I’m already there. It just depends on what they want to do… and, of course, the time we’ve got… There’s just so much to do!
